From early September to mid October anglers from around the world descend upon our shores for the pink and northern Coho salmon runs. Chest waders or belly boats are all that is necessary for an extreme day of fishing. View an abundance of marine life, including blue heron, bald eagles, seals and many other species. Kayak and paddle along the tranquil shores on the east coast of Vancouver Island. Relax in our oceanfront hot tub while watching the eagles soar and cruise ships passing by. Gather around a beach bonfire. Enjoy clams/oysters picked from our beach. Hike on trails through pristine local forests. Enjoy a round of golf at one of the sixteen golf courses within an hours drive. Centrally located for day trips to many points of interest on Vancouver Island. Kayak rentals are available to paddle our tranquil Oceanfront. Four runs of salmon pass by us between May and October. Fishers from around the world cast/fly fish from shore or belly boats. we have a giant tide pool, which acts as a hands on aquarium for the kids to see the many species that get caught up every tide changes. We also have a shellfish research station near by that has live tanks, and tours that explains about the many species they will find.
