This listing has 3 private rooms in a shared A-Frame guesthouse, three private huts and nine tent/RV sites in a six acre campground in a quiet forested residential area surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. Valhalla Park, Slocan Lake, Nelson, and Castlegar are all a 35 minute drive away. The shared community building has free hot showers, flush toilets, a wood burning stove, sink, stove refrigerator and basic kitchen amenities. There is also outdoor shower, fire pits, picnic tables and a rain sheltered picnic area. There is no cell phone coverage here, but there is free WIFI. It is beautiful land with nice big trees and very few mosquitoes. Its an off-highway, semi-dead-end, so its usually quiet except for squirrels and other typical rural residential sounds. Wild turkeys and deer wander through the property. There are many guides available for activities in the area including water sports, climbing, skiing, hiking, artist tours, events, geology, mining, mushrooms, cannabis and plant medicines, garden tours, native history and more.
